Trade partners are the installers who fit the hardware — typically plumbers doing tank, pump, or water-supply jobs. You buy devices, fit them on site, and keep an eye on your installed base through your partner console. No wholesale arrangement, no minimum order, no franchise — just a trade account that gets you a partner console and lets you earn on the install.

Register as a partner

Sign up for a trade account — it's free. You'll get a partner console and an invite code to give customers.

Install the device

Mount the sensor on the tank lid and connect to your USB power source. Provisioning takes ~10 minutes — allow 30–60 minutes all-up for the full visit (mounting, power run, and WiFi setup).

Provision on site

Connect to the device's WiFi hotspot, enter the customer's home WiFi password, and the device is live. No laptop, no app installs, no technical knowledge required.

Customer claims it

The customer signs in from the captive portal, names their tank, and enters your invite code under "Your installer" — they're monitoring from day one, linked to you.

Automatic low-level alerts

When a customer's tank drops below their threshold, you're notified alongside them — so you can reach out proactively instead of waiting for a panic call on a Friday afternoon.

  • Customer sets their alert threshold in the app (alerts are a Pro-plan feature)
  • When an alert fires, the customer is emailed — and so are you, for any tank you've opted into
  • You choose which tanks alert you, per customer, from your partner console

Tradie FAQ

Do I need to buy stock upfront?

No. Order devices as you need them — no minimum order, no stock-holding risk.

What if the customer already has an account?

They sign in with their existing account and claim the device. They enter your invite code to link their account to you — with their consent, and they can unlink you at any time.

Can I manage multiple customers from one login?

Yes. Your trade account has a partner dashboard listing all the devices you've installed and which customers own them.

What if a device goes offline?

The app shows the customer their last reading and flags the device as offline. You can see offline devices in your partner dashboard too, so you can reach out proactively.

Is there any ongoing obligation once I'm a partner?

None. Use it as much or as little as you like. No fees, no minimums.

Privacy, straight up

Linked, with consent — always. A customer links you by entering your invite code, and can unlink you at any time (access ends immediately). You see their tank names and levels — never their personal alert settings or contact details. If they revoke alert copies, they stop everywhere, at once.
